RRMA Forum
A territorial approach to development challenges : European perspectives in dialogue
About the Forum
Under the theme « A territorial approach to development challenges : European perspectives in dialogue » the 2026 Forum will bring together the French Regional Multi-Stakholder Networks (RRMA), representatives of European institutions, as well as partners from several European countries.
In a context shaped by changing forms of international solidarity, geopolitical tensions and evolving European policies, territories are emerging more than ever as spaces for innovation, cooperation and citizen engagement. By connecting local, national, European and international levels, they help build concrete responses to shared challenges and strengthen ties between societies.
This new edition of the Forum aims to strengthen dialogue between territorial and European actors, highlight different approaches to international cooperation and promote the strategic role of territories in building a fairer, more inclusive and more sustainable world.
A day to understand, exchange and take action
The morning will focus on understanding the main European priorities in the field of international cooperation, their institutional framework and the opportunities available to territorial actors.
The afternoon will give the floor to French and European partners, who will share their experiences, field initiatives and lessons learned from their projects. These discussions will showcase inspiring approaches and territorial practices illustrating different ways of contributing to international cooperation.
Detailed programme to be announced.
A key event for international cooperation stakeholders
The Forum will bring together Regional Multi-Stakeholder Networks (RRMA), local and regional authorities, associations, educational institutions, representatives of French and European institutions, as well as partners committed to international cooperation.
By bringing together a wide range of stakeholders, this event will encourage cross-perspectives on cooperation practices, experience sharing and dialogue between different levels of action. It will provide a space for discussion to better understand European challenges and highlight the contribution of territories to international cooperation.
